Role

As a Printing Press Operator (also known as Press Technician, Lithographic Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining printing presses. You'll review job specifications, perform make-ready tasks, make necessary color corrections, and ensure the maintenance of the press. You'll also be expected to meet budgeted performance objectives.

Qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of a variety of techniques, procedures, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements to set-up, adjust, operate, and maintain equipment.
  • Skilled in a wide variety of complex manipulations and mechanical procedures to perform a variety of tasks to set-up, make major adjustments, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.
  • Proficiency in machine setups for production runs, blueprint reading, quality inspection experience, mechanical troubleshooting skills, lean manufacturing principles, and basic computer skills.
