Repair Technician

Role

As a Repair Technician (also known as Instrument Repair Technician, Surgical Instrument Repair Technician), you'll perform basic to intermediate inspections and repairs on surgical instruments. This role involves using grinding wheels, buffing wheels, various hand and power tools, soldering, etc. You'll work in diverse environments such as a mobile repair truck, a repair lab, or a hospital. Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are key to success in this role.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, such as hands-on repair, assembly, product testing, use of small hand tools, etc.
  • Must meet flexible schedules with early/late hours and occasional overnight/out of state travel, have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
