PLC Maintenance Technician

Role

As a PLC Technician (also known as Automation Technician, Controls Technician) on the 1st shift, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair and improve automation, controls, and technology systems and equipment. You will provide project management assistance for major capital expenditures, ensuring projects are on time and within budget. You'll also interact with various groups within the plant and outside resources such as consulting engineers, architects, draftspersons, and contractors.

Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in a related engineering field and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience or equivalent demonstrated experience on the job.
  • Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation software such as Factory Talk, Panel Builder, Control Logix, RS Logix.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to set up computers, analyze IT issues and resolve them.
