Machine Operator

Role

As a Machine Operator (also known as Equipment Technician, Production Machine Operator), you'll be responsible for meeting shift output goals, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, and setting up and running products correctly. You'll also operate machines, use overhead cranes and/or forklifts, make joins in wire products, and generate correct identification tags. Additionally, you'll monitor for quality control, make minor machine repairs, maintain cleanliness of equipment and your assigned area, and accurately report production data.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and other support software.
  • Proficiency in machine setups for production runs and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds, balance, bend, stoop or kneel, climb, push/pull, and squat or crouch.
