Role

As a Device Repair Specialist (also known as Surgical Instrument Technician, Medical Device Repair Technician), you'll perform inspection, repair, and refurbishment of surgical instruments and devices in a lab-based setting. You'll ensure timely and quality repairs to meet compliance standards, and deliver superior customer experience as part of a high-performing team.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience in repair, assembly, or product testing and use of small hand tools. Experience in small engine repair, cell phone and electronics repair, testing or re-builds, carpentry, circuit board assembly and repair, sterile processing, industrial sewing, jewelry repair, maintenance, construction, and automotive repair is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times and push instrument carts ranging from 10-150 pounds at times.
