Food Quality Engineer (SQF)

Role

As a Food Quality Engineer - SQF Practitioner (also known as Food Safety Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer), you'll lead the food safety and training programs, oversee quality assurance projects, and serve as the primary SQF Practitioner. Your responsibilities will include leading the total food safety process, developing and executing SQF plans, managing pertinent food safety programs, leading the SQF team, and maintaining the food safety program calendar.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Engineering Paper Science or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of SQF experience in manufacturing in a training capacity.
  • HACCP Certified and SQF Lead Auditor Training preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and think pro-actively with minimal daily guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Minitab, and other software applications specific to position.
