Sr. Blow Mold Technician

Role

As a Senior Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Specialist, Maintenance Engineer), you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair of all equipment failures. You'll share knowledge of all production equipment with the maintenance team and operators, act as a subject matter expert in at least one equipment area, and work directly with Maintenance Technicians, machine Operators, Supervisors, and Managers to resolve mechanical issues. You'll also develop and implement best practices aligned with maintenance strategies, and champion continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment, with a focus on high-speed bottle manufacturing and packaging.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools.
  • Experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or other packaging or bottling equipment.
  • Experience leading and developing others on the functionality and repair of equipment.
