CNC Programmer

Role

As a CNC Programmer (also known as CNC Lathe Programmer, CNC Mill Programmer), you'll be responsible for programming CNC Lathes, Swiss lathes, and Mills using current machining processes. You'll develop new machining processes for continuous runs and work on Robotic automation processes.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school education. An associate degree in manufacturing technologies or similar is preferred.
  • Good understanding of machining metal and processes with CNC machines.
  • Proficiency in the use of computerized machine controls, precision measurement instruments, hand tools, and specialized trade tools.
  • Ability to diagnose machining problems: tool failure, rough finish, chip build up, etc.
  • Experience with G-Code, GD&T, M-Code, manual machining skills, and machine setups for production runs.
