Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Facilities Maintenance Worker, Equipment Maintenance Specialist), you'll perform maintenance work on buildings, facilities, and equipment, and occasionally undertake custodial duties. Your responsibilities will include electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks. You'll operate specialized equipment, oversee outside contractors, and ensure the smooth operation of various electrical systems.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of two years direct experience in maintenance or three years experience in one of the trades (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic). Completion of a certified educational program in maintenance may substitute for the two years of experience.
  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks in all the skilled trades: electrical, electronics, mechanical, pneumatics, and operate a wide variety of power equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
