Level II CNC Programmer

Role

As a Level II CNC Programmer (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Operator), you'll be instrumental in programming and production setup for various industries. Key operations include using CNC Mills and Lathes, power and hand tools, precision tools, and other required equipment. You'll also be responsible for reading detailed prints/drawings, utilizing Solidworks and Mastercam, operating OKUMA controllers, and applying comprehensive knowledge in fixturing and equipment setup.

Qualifications
  • High School or GED with Journeyman, Machinist, Tool and Die maker, or twenty five (25) credits and four (4) years of job related experience. MasterCam Training, Solidworks Training a plus, GD&T training.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, Troubleshooting CNC Machines, Machine Setups for Production Runs.
  • Experience with CAM Software (Mastercam), CNC Lathe (2-4 axis), CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Okuma), CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Okuma).
