Quality Engineer

Role

As a Quality Engineer (also known as Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer), you'll conduct research, design, and development for quality processes and controls. You'll evaluate designs, project plans, and specifications, provide support for the Process Sign Off Books, and coordinate the Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new programs and process improvements. You'll also analyze data for process improvement, direct colleagues in measuring and testing product quality, and assist in providing training and support for Quality Technicians and manufacturing colleagues.

Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of experience in quality engineering or supplier development.
  • Experience with large and medium metal stamping and assembly, and knowledge of resistance and MIG welding processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent industrial design experience. ASQC certified Quality Engineer preferred.
