Crane Technician

Role

As a Senior Service Technician (also known as Crane Service Technician, Hoist Repair Specialist), you'll provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance, and repair services for hoist and crane equipment. Your duties will include servicing overhead crane systems, performing OSHA equivalent inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, and responding to emergency service/breakdown calls. You'll also support customers by effectively interfacing with them and the office in repairing equipment as needed.

Qualifications
  • 5 or more years’ experience troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
  • Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
  • Previous overhead crane and scissor lift experience.
  • Associate’s degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician, Electro-Mechanical Technology, preferred.
  • Ability to work at height, in extreme temperature and noisy locations. This is a physically demanding job involving standing, walking, sitting and the ability to lift 50-100lbs.
