Role

As a Plant Controller (also known as Cost Manager, Manufacturing Financial Controller), you'll analyze and report financial results, manage inventory, ensure internal controls, develop standard costs, and supervise a small accounting team. You'll also attend production meetings and perform periodic walkthroughs to discuss production and costing issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Plant Controller or Cost Manager in a manufacturing environment, with emphasis on cost accounting, reporting and variance analysis.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in creating and modifying spreadsheets.
  • Preferred: MBA, CMA OR CPA with solid cost accounting background; experience with JD Edwards and system conversion.
