TIG Welder - 2nd Shift/3rd Shift

Role

As a TIG Welder (also known as a Fabrication Welder, Production Welder), you'll be responsible for production welding and weld repair of castings, dies, molds, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment in accordance with weld procedures and customer specifications. This role includes operating all aspects of the production AC/DC power source and all components of the weld torch, determining weld wire alloy designation and sizes, gas settings for welding torch and backups, and blending welds for repair/production weld castings.

Benefits
  • Competitive starting rate of $27.07/hr., increasing to $28.39/hr. after 12 months.
  • Comprehensive training provided on 1st Shift (6am-2pm) for up to 6 months, before transitioning to 2nd (2pm-10pm) or 3rd Shift (10pm-6am).
  • Opportunity to work with a variety of alloys including aluminum and to fabricate copper backups used for welds.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Minimum of two years of TIG experience.
  • Proficiency in manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) with remote foot control and blueprint reading is preferred.
