Controls Technician

Role

As an Automation Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Machine Operator), you'll be responsible for troubleshooting various types of equipment including machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, and hydraulic/electric molding machines. You'll also work closely with process engineers to optimize injection molding machines, increase production speed, and ensure quality. Additionally, you'll be tasked with updating and developing equipment calibration procedures and creating electrical drawings.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, Technical School preferred.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic & mechanical operations.
  • Experience with robotic control systems and ability to make major source code changes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Autodesk Electrical.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
