Role

As a Diesel Mechanic (also known as Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Truck Mechanic), you'll provide expert level diagnosis and repair for all motor truck and heavy construction equipment. You'll perform preventive maintenance, inspect crucial parts for proper operation, identify warrantable repairs, and carry out routine maintenance. You'll also ensure conformance with factory specifications and maintain a safe and orderly work area.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years practical experience working with truck and/or heavy construction equipment.
  • Strong parts background and proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and power tools).
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines and transmissions), OEM training courses, ASE certification and 608/609 certifications – preferred.
