Path Engineering

As a Die Maker (also known as Tool and Die Maker, Die Designer), you'll design and produce various types of cutting and folding dies and counter plates for production. You'll also construct stripping dies and cylinders, make samples, and assist with make ready. You'll be expected to provide innovative solutions for production problems, work independently, and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.

• High School Diploma, General Education Degree, or 2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, micrometers, and calipers.
• Working knowledge of all styles and types of folding cartons and box board.
• Experience with hand tools and their usage for installation and adjustment of parts.
• Previous experience as a tool and die maker is preferred.
• Experience with circular and jog saw; drill, drill press, grinder, rule benders and cutters, micrometer, dividers, and drafting table is a plus.
