Industrial Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Machine Maintenance Operator), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes observing devices in operation to locate root cause of problems, dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairing and/or replacing defective parts, testing device performance, and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems. You may also be required to operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
