Controls Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Specialist, Technical Support Specialist), you'll perform expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance, design mechanical and electrical equipment improvements, and troubleshoot complex control systems. You'll also lead continuous improvement activities, source parts and supplies, and provide training and coaching to less proficient technicians.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED), with an Associate's degree in a technical field and 7 years of related experience, or 10 years of experience in the industry.
  • Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
