Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes diagnosing problems, dismantling devices to remove defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices, and repairing or replacing defective parts. You'll also operate various machining operations, comply with housekeeping standards, and participate in continuous improvement activities. You'll be expected to troubleshoot control systems and utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Equipment Troubleshooting, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, and Troubleshooting CNC Machines.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).
  • Ability to use basic and specialized tools, and to work in a factory environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials and loud noises.
