Path Engineering

As a Medium Voltage Transformer Specialist (also known as Electrical Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician), you'll be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Medium/High Voltage equipment in an industrial steel production facility. You'll lead annual testing and inspections, diagnose and remedy complex electrical problems, assist in team development, and serve as Shift Supervisor when necessary. Your role will also involve installing, monitoring, and ensuring the reliability of all electrical and electronic control systems, procuring supplies, and maintaining necessary documentation.

• High School Diploma or GED required, with preference for graduates of an instrumentation, electronics or mechatronics program from a recognized trade school.
• Minimum 2 years electrical maintenance experience preferred, especially in a heavy industrial environment.
• Must possess specific knowledge of both hydraulic and electrical systems and equipment, with experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical valves, switches, A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical.
