Mold Setter

Role

As a Mold Setter (also known as Die Setter, Press Operator), you'll be responsible for mold/die changes in large presses, ensuring proper set-up of all molds and related functions. Your duties will also include setting parameters of the molding press, repairing any fluid or air leaks relating to the mold, and maintaining the orderly appearance of the mold storage area.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of mold setting experience in Plastic Injection Molding.
  • Good mechanical aptitude, ability to operate powered lift equipment (forklift, hoists, cranes, etc.), and proficiency in Plastic Extrusion, Injection Molding, Thermoforming, and Blow Molding.
