Automation Technician - 2nd Shift

```Role
As an Automation Technician (also known as Control Systems Technician, Robotics Technician) for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm CST), you'll primarily support PLC systems, HMI’s, and robotic control systems. Your key duties will include maintaining and improving the reliability and productivity of robotic/automated systems, providing specialized technical expertise in material handling, control, and automation technology, and maintaining expected quality levels. You'll also be expected to comply with all site-required policies and procedures.

- High school diploma or GED required, associate degree in a technical discipline or related field experience is preferred.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Robotic experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in varying control and automation programs including Rockwell Automation or similar control and automation software. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook is also required.
- Ability to integrate new devices into legacy systems, prioritize work assignments, and multi-task.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and a basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in a diverse industrial environment.
- Experience with PLC Troubleshooting, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Schematics, Industrial Robot Programming, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, PLC Programming, and PLC Wiring.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens) and Industrial Robot (Fanuc) is beneficial.
