Role

As a Utilities Technician (also known as Stationary Engineer, HVAC Mechanic, or Ammonia Refrigeration Technician), you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation, maintenance, and monitoring of various systems including ammonia/refrigeration, compressed air, process steam, steam plant heating, steam condensate, hot/cold water, HVAC, and fire protection. This role is based in a team-orientated, fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications
  • Flexibility to work first, second, or third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration, steam generation, compressed air, and HVAC fields.
  • Physical capability to wear a gas mask and self-contained breathing apparatus, and to complete all lifting (100 lbs.), climbing, and other physical demands.
  • CFC Certification - Type I & Type II: (Minimum) as defined by EPA. Steam/Refrigeration License preferred.
  • Proficiency in HVAC, OEM, PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans, HVAC/R Systems, Refrigeration Systems, Refrigerants, Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, Machine Safety Inspections, and experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
