Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician (also known as Industrial Maintenance Technician, Mechatronics Technician), you'll perform a variety of duties including inspecting and testing electrical malfunctions, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on equipment, fabricating and welding brackets, and installing conduit and other wiring. You'll also be responsible for diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus and systems, working from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and machines, and advising management on equipment safety.

Qualifications
  • Technical School Graduates with studies in Electrical Systems, Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
  • Proficient at reading/interpreting blueprints and schematics (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
  • Basic understanding, troubleshooting, and experience with Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, Pneumatic Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Electronic Systems.
  • Experience with HVAC, PLC Troubleshooting, Electrical Troubleshooting, Mechanical Troubleshooting, Hydraulics, Industrial Automation Equipment, PLC Programming, and PLC Wiring.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley), and Servo Motors.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to stand 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment as required and willing to work rotating shift.
