Fleet Mechanic Specialist 3rd Shift

Role

As a Diesel Equipment Mechanic (also known as Heavy Duty Commercial Diesel Mechanic, Reefer Mechanic), you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, rebuilding, and completing all required repairs on diesel equipment. You will also perform preventative maintenance, handle road service calls, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean and safe work environment. This role also requires the capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or a combination of both; or 2 years verifiable hands-on experience with either Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification or both.
  • Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations, read and understand technical and service manuals, and manage multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.
