Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through in-depth troubleshooting and repair. You'll work on a variety of production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, and more. You'll also troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers and air compressors. You'll work directly with machine operators and supervisors to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shifts.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar maintenance environment or position, or managing people/projects. Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools.
  • Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges.
  • High School Diploma required, Associate’s Degree in a relevant field preferred.
