Electronic Repair Technician II

Role

As an Equipment Repair and Development Specialist (also known as Electronic and Mechanical Repair Technician, Product Development Associate), you'll repair complex electronic and mechanical equipment, develop intermediate products, communicate with customers, build complex fixtures, perform warranty analysis, and process service report paperwork. You'll also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, monitor processes, and adhere to safety procedures.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with five to eight years related experience and/or training; or ten years equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups; calculate figures and amounts; apply concepts of basic algebra, physics and geometry; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Thorough understanding of electronics and/or mechanics and intermediate to complex troubleshooting skills.
  • Team player, organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize.
  • Good driving record.
