Role

As a Quality Engineer (also known as Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer), you'll lead customer quality interfacing, focus on plant scrap reduction, coordinate with various teams for optimal performance, ensure process audits, and work with all functions of the organization, customers, and suppliers to identify the root cause of product non-conformities. You'll also develop and initiate methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of manufactured products, and participate in facility problem solving activities to reduce scrap and increase productivity.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level.
  • 3 years minimum as Quality Engineer in the automotive industry or related position.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, formal problem-solving skills, experience with core quality tools, including PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA, PCR and SPC, and experience/training with ISO9001:2016/IATF16949 16949 systems.
