Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Mechanic, Equipment Repair Specialist), you'll be responsible for visually inspecting and testing machinery, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, installing new or repaired parts, and maintaining physical plant systems. You'll also work with automated machinery, operate machine tools, and handle welding equipment. Your role will involve working with different systems including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, trade or technical school certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Robotics, Hydraulics, or Schematics.
  • 2 to 6 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, pump repair, and hydraulic/electric/mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in plumbing, heavy equipment repair, equipment troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting skills, hydraulics experience, machine safety inspections, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
