Role
As a Wastewater Technician (also known as Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator, EHS Technician), your main responsibilities will include implementing EHS objectives with primary emphasis on EHS compliance. You'll maintain effluent to meet regulatory permit requirements, handle hazardous waste storage and disposal, and conduct safety and environmental audits. You'll also assist with site Safety Committee activities and Building Emergency Response Teams.

- Associate’s degree and 2 years of waste treatment experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of waste treatment experience.
- RCRA, HazWoper, and HazMat DOT training preferred.
- Hold a Class 6 (Physical Chemical Treatment) industrial wastewater operator certificate OR a Physical/Chemical Industrial Treatment Certification from the Water Professionals International (WPI) preferred.
