Role

As a Diesel Equipment Mechanic (also known as Heavy Duty Commercial Diesel Mechanic, Reefer Mechanic), you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, rebuilding, and completing all required repairs on diesel equipment. You will also handle road service calls, perform preventative maintenance, and manage inventory and recordkeeping.

Qualifications
  • 3 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic, or 2 years of experience with Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, with a proven track record of independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with PM programs, knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations, and ability to read and understand technical and service manuals.
