Role

As a Chemical Hazard Technician (also known as Chemical Safety Technician, Hazardous Chemicals Specialist), you'll be responsible for lab and pilot scale operation of high-hazard chemical processes, handling and manipulation of chemicals, and management of lab work involving corrosive, toxic, and flammable chemicals. You'll also monitor and adjust chemical processes using automated control systems, document and audit specific operating, safety, and environmental requirements, and troubleshoot reactions, mechanical processes, controls, or laboratory issues.

Qualifications
  • Understanding of the physical and chemical properties of various substances, including their potential health and safety hazards.
