Role
As a Manual Machinist (also known as Machine Tool Operator, Precision Machinist), you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manual machine tools to produce precision parts and components. Your role will involve interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and using various machining techniques to achieve the desired specifications. You'll also monitor machine operations, adjust settings as needed, perform various machining operations, and inspect finished products for accuracy.
