Quality Engineer

Role

As a Quality Engineer (also known as Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer), you'll conduct research, design, and development for quality processes and controls. You'll evaluate designs, project plans, specifications, and other documents. You'll also provide support for the Process Sign Off Books and job books, coordinate the PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) for new programs and engineering changes, analyze SPC data for process improvement, and direct colleagues in measuring and testing product quality. This full-time role is part of our Quality Team.

Qualifications
  • Minimum three-years (3) experience in quality engineering or supplier development.
  • Experience in large and medium metal stamping and assembly.
  • Knowledge of resistance and MIG welding processes, GD&T, and PPAP processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent industrial design experience. ASQC certified Quality Engineer preferred.
  • Proficiency in Quality Inspection, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Certification, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Process Development, Basic Computer Skills, and Microsoft Excel.
