Machine Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Maintenance Specialist, Maintenance Engineer), you'll be responsible for maintaining and providing maintenance to all equipment and machinery. This includes both mechanical and minor electrical repairs, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment. You'll also participate in an "on-call" rotation schedule to ensure 24-hour coverage of maintenance needs in case of emergencies, and maintain all facility safety devices to ensure they are in proper working condition.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical training is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in machinery and equipment maintenance.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment and solid working knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC is a plus.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Equipment Troubleshooting, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills.
  • Experience with Packaging Machines and Extrusion Machines.
