Quality Engineer

Role

As a Quality Engineer (also known as Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer), you'll act as a liaison between the manufacturing plant and external parties, participate in APQP meetings, support compliance with IATF-16949, ISO-9001, and ISO-14001, develop PPAP packages, participate in the development of new gaging methods, and provide training related to boundary samples, SPC, customer specific requirements, among other duties.

Qualifications
  • BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 10 years' experience or combination of experience and education.
  • Proficiency in FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, PPAP, Fishbone/Ishikawa, GD&T, Quality Inspection, Customer Service, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Certification, Engineering, Communication Skills, Experience in a Manufacturing Environment, PPAP Process Experience, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Root Cause Analysis, Process Development, Basic Computer Skills, Microsoft Excel.
