Path Engineering

As a Materials Testing Technician (also known as Metallurgical Lab Technician, Materials Analyst), you'll examine and test metal samples using scanning electron microscope and stereoscope, perform chemical analysis on parts, conduct product audits and tests, and write simple reports. You'll also polish or etch metal specimens, photograph samples using a photomicroscope, and work closely with photography technical personnel.

• Associate’s Degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using scanning electron microscope and stereoscope.
• Experience in a similar lab environment and proficiency in Quality Inspection and Quality Control Data Analysis.
