Field Service Maintenance Technician - Chicago Regional Travel

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Machine Maintenance Technician), you'll perform expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex control systems, and utilize advanced maintenance technologies. You'll also be responsible for sourcing parts, optimizing maintenance procedures, and documenting work performed. Additionally, you may be required to operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). An Associate's degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in the industry or 12 years of experience in the industry is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems. Ability to analyze problems, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
  • Experience in condition-based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, maintenance of applicable process equipment, programmable logic controllers, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems.
