Facilities Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician (also known as Building Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer), you'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of the buildings’ infrastructures and systems. This includes conducting regular inspections, scheduling preventive maintenance, performing emergency repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related role.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in conducting inspections and documenting maintenance activities.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude who takes initiative with little to no supervision.
  • Experience with equipment troubleshooting, facilities maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Forklift license and experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
