Role

As a Tool & Die Maker (also known as Tooling Technician, Die Specialist), you'll analyze specifications, layout metal stock, operate machine tools, and assemble parts to create and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools. You'll work closely with Designers, CNC Operators, and EDM Operators to plan manufacturing methods for tooling. You'll also be responsible for organizing and executing tooling assembly, heading up die tryout at punch press, and making required adjustments.

Qualifications
  • Associates Degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM Software, Blueprint Reading, and Quality Inspection.
