Path Engineering

As a Production Associate (also known as Manufacturing Assistant, Production Operator), you'll be responsible for various fabrication, machining, painting, and assembly operations to mass-produce and ship heavy truck axle and suspension systems. You'll perform production manufacturing processes, track and record produced product and scrap, conduct equipment changeovers, and operate a variety of machinery including high-definition plasmas, CO2 lasers, hydraulic forming presses, and robotic welders. You'll also assemble products using various tools and equipment, work in isolated cells or on open assembly lines, and communicate with supervisors and peers concerning production issues.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-6 months of related experience in a production manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), CNC Lathe (2-4 axis), Robotic Welder, Calipers and Micrometers, Horizontal Machining Center (3-4 axis), Forklifts, and Industrial Robot.
• Physical capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
