Project Manager, Infrastructure and Safety

Role

As a Project Manager in the Biotechnology sector (also known as Project Leader, Operations Coordinator), your primary role will be to bridge operations and engineering groups, coordinate with external contractors, and align multi-functional teams. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and safely. This role involves driving out inefficiencies, managing priorities, and creating project impacts. You will also have the opportunity to plan and execute new manufacturing lines or upgrade existing infrastructure/equipment. Mastering project management tools and leading project teams within a matrix structure are crucial aspects of this role.

  • Experience in coordinating internal operations functions to meet project schedule, quality, and EHS commitments.
  • Ability to lead at the tactical level and hold multi-functional team members accountable for commitments.
  • Proficiency in Quality Inspection, HVAC, Leadership/People Management, Plant Construction, Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Electrical Schematics, HVAC/R Systems, Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, Lean Manufacturing Principles, Mechanical Assembly Skills, Budgeting/Forecasting Experience, Measuring LTIR (Lost Time injury Rates), Excellent Communication Skills, Experience in a Manufacturing Environment, and Process Development.
