Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Specialist), you'll ensure the continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and managing parts inventory. You'll also be responsible for maintaining safety and cleanliness, diagnosing problems, replacing defective parts, inspecting parts for wear, adjusting devices, managing downtime, fabricating parts, and providing mechanical maintenance information.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical or University degree or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting, Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans, Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting, and Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of packing equipment and freezer operations.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, squat and lift up to 50lbs.
