Production Group Leader

Geneva, IL

As a Production Supervisor (also known as Production Coordinator, Manufacturing Supervisor), you'll oversee pre-op and/or tear-down, coordinate line set-up, review production issues and schedules, and work with other departments to prevent downtime. You'll also lead continuous improvement initiatives, assign personnel to workstations, provide training, and ensure specification compliance. This role requires excellent communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to enter data into computer programs.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to read, speak, and write in English. Bilingual capability is a plus.
  • Physical ability to stand and operate tools or controls, occasionally sit, walk, stoop or crouch, and lift up to 15 pounds of boxes of product, bales of cartons, or rolls of film.
