Polish and Finish Machinist

Role

As a Polishing Equipment Operator (also known as Finishing Technician, Polishing Technician), you'll operate polishing equipment to achieve desired finish on parts and products. You'll select appropriate wheels, dressings, and abrasives, apply and manipulate work to wheels, and maintain contour and dimensions. You'll also inspect and verify product characteristics, mark defects for rework, maintain equipment, and perform minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, deburring experience, machine safety inspections, and machine setups for production runs.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and manual machining skills.
  • Ability to work to close tolerances and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
