Crane Technician

Role

As a Senior Service Technician (also known as Crane Service Technician, Hoist Repair Specialist), you'll provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance, and repair service for hoist and crane equipment. You'll also perform OSHA equivalent inspections, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergency service/breakdown calls. You'll uphold the highest level of professional integrity and ethics as required to instill customer confidence and continued success in service.

Qualifications
  • 5 or more years’ experience troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
  • Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
  • Associate’s degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician, Electro-Mechanical Technology, preferred.
  • Ability to work at height, in extreme temperature and noisy locations. This is a physically demanding job involving standing, walking, sitting and the ability to lift 50-100lbs.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, PLC Wiring Experience, Experience in a Manufacturing Environment, Heavy Equipment Repair, Equipment Troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Overhead Crane, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
