Maintenance Associate

Role

As a Maintenance Associate (also known as Shift Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician), you'll leverage your knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to maintain and repair production equipment. You'll troubleshoot breakdowns, install replacement parts, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. You'll also inspect equipment regularly to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal operation.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of technician experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the plastics industry.
  • Strong skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance, VFDs, Servo motors, and PLCs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Ability to work with high-voltage systems, low-voltage control circuits, and computer-based controls.
  • Experience in troubleshooting pneumatics and hydraulic systems, and repairing or replacing industrial mechanical/electrical/electronic components.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, and initiative skills.
  • Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.
