Maintenance Specialist

Role

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician (also known as Industrial Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician), you'll be responsible for maintaining equipment, site facilities, and assets. You'll provide advanced troubleshooting and repair services for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You'll also play a key role in reducing machinery downtime, tracking equipment failures, and providing leadership and training to other technicians.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Education/training or applicable experience in a skilled trade pertaining to industrial maintenance such as Mechanical, Electrical, Fluid power, Machining, Welding, etc.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools, and electrical devices i.e. voltmeter, ammeter, etc.
  • Understanding of electrical control systems and control logic platforms.
  • Ability to read and work from schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
  • Ability to multitask, and communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple skilled trades (mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, welding, piping, etc.)
