Role

As an Electrician (also known as Electrical Technician, Maintenance Electrician), you'll install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment. You'll ensure all installations comply with local and national electrical codes, diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly, and conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems. You'll adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, maintain compliance with food safety standards, and conduct quality assurance measures and inspections. You'll also stay updated with the latest electrical technology and industry trends, and suggest and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Electrician license.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing (USDA/FDA) regulations and standards is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
